2024
will be the first time ever that minors in Belgium can vote. The
Liaison Office of the European Parliament in Belgium is providing 19
plywood-voting booths that Brussels youth can customize with their
graffiti skills (under the guidance of animators from Propaganza vzw).
The voting booths will, after this day, travel to the 19 Brussels
municipalities. Each Brussels commune can adopt one and use them as a
conversation starter or a supporting object for possible election
activities in schools or youth centres in Brussels. The aim is to talk
about democracy and have people (youth) think about registering so they
are able to vote at the next European elections.
