Top together.eu change-maker story:
ESTONIA – Riin

I found out about the together.eu platform from the newsletter of the Society of Political Sciences at my university in Tartu. I immediately signed up to together.eu and started receiving their newsletters, which offer many interesting opportunities to readers. For example, I was able to take part in a European Youth Event in Strasbourg and soon I’m going to Brussels for management training.

In the Society of Political Sciences at the University of Tartu, we’re organising a debate between the youngest candidates standing for the European elections. We’re also planning an event to watch the TV coverage of the election results together. We’re taking a trip to Sweden to see how youth engagement works there and to learn from that, and we’re running European Parliament role-playing games in schools across Estonia. I’m also organising panel discussions on various social issues with the NGO Progressive Movement. All of these events are important for preparing young people to make an informed decision in the European elections in June.

The together.eu community helps me to feel a stronger connection with the European Union, to get to know other enthusiastic young Europeans, and to contribute to shaping a friendly, strong, and pro-European community.
