This event is being organised by the European Parliament Liaison Office in Malta, in co-operation with VisMedNet Association as leader of the Pros4Democracy project.
Pros4Democracy is an Erasmus+ project for youth that has generated tools for youth educators on more and better participation in democracy.
The tools are aimed at a target group of youths between 16 and 20 years of age, and cover unanswered questions, such as:
- Do gender balance mechanisms mean higher participation in politics by women?
- Will we ever vote for the common good?
- Is it worth speaking of media literacy when we still have political parties with their own media channels broadcasting totally opposing views with little cross-party analysis of things?
- Will we ever vote for the common good?

This activity will not try to answer all of these questions but it will foster exchange about how we can help younger generations be part of a better democratic milieu for Malta and for Europe
